Quote & Pricing Co-Ordinator Hometown ITM
Locally owned and operated, Hometown ITM Foxton is a passionate, tight knit, family focused team of 10. We are the local building and rural supplies specialist on the amazing west coast of the Horowhenua and Manawatu regions.
From new houses to renovations to decks & fencing to kitchens & bathrooms, you will manage our full estimating and pricing service.
We are about to implement the latest cloud project management software that will allow us to provide accurate material and pricing estimates of all projects.
You don’t even need to have prior experience in material take-offs. No more paper plans and scale rulers – all take-offs are done onscreen in minutes. You measure in a few clicks and price jobs in one step with take-offs automatically linked to item costs.
Working along side our trade team, you will co-ordinate the pricing of all projects from initial loading through presentation to the trade team.
You will be well supported in the role with our experienced team of staff including a qualified builder and quantity surveyor.
Recent and relevant experience in the building industry particularly around estimating or material supplies, and sales would be ideal but certainly not essential. We will train and invest in the right person.
Advanced computer skills are a must. Recent & relevant experience in modern project management software would also be helpful.
Competitive wage based on experience, phone, staff buying privileges and the opportunity to be part of an awesome team going places.
This is a full-time position with the hours of Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm and rostered Saturdays 8.00am – 12.00pm.
Some flexibility in hours may be available for the right person.
We want this new person to be involved in the implementation of this new software from day one and we are ready to go!
If you believe you have the right mix of skills and experience to succeed in this role, I want to hear from you.
Send a cover letter (along with your CV) highlighting why your experience and skills make you our next team member, to:
Doug Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you cannot be bothered taking the time to write a cover letter, do not expect a reply. All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
