Supporting our community

Supporting our community

Supporting local communities has always been a part of our DNA at ITM. Most of our 92 stores around Aotearoa support a local club, school or a charity-based organisation through sponsorship.

Our sponsorships are about more than just donating money though. They're about helping uplift the communities that we live in. We're pleased to showcase some of our stores' incredible work in their local communities.

Tuakau ITM

Supporting the Community is a core element in Tuakau ITM. One of the many ways that Tuakau ITM does this is by supporting the Port Waikato Sunset Beach Lifeguard service in co-creating the ‘The Community Hub at Sunset Beach’. In addition, to becoming an essential sponsor in the Port Waikato Community, Tuakau ITM have ensured that either on land or out in the sea “We’ll see you right”.

Takaka ITM

Situated in the small community of Golden Bay, Takaka ITM always aims to go above and beyond for its community. Sponsoring valuable support networks, such as, Takaka Golf Club’s Junior Program resulting in future leaders in the Golf community. They also support the Golden Bay Football Club and Golden Bay Mountain Club whose mission is raising Mental Health awareness in the community. Takaka ITM contributing to the future of its community.

Waitmate ITM

Being involved daily in the community and getting the job done right is what makes Waimate ITM proud. By sponsoring the local fire department, Waimate ITM have become an essential pillar in the Waimate community. Not only do they sponsor the local fire department, but they also willingly volunteer to be firefighters. Waimate ITM getting the job done right with everyday staff from volunteering to ensure the safety of the Waimate community.

Western ITM

One of the many motivations for Western ITM is building an easier pathway for the local youth to obtain an essential education in the building industry. Education, care for its community and constructing future leaders in the building industry. Western ITM invests into its local community by supporting the students from Massey High and Massey Building Academy. Western ITM are paving the way to offer greater opportunities to the future of builders in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
